Somnus
Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder in the whole of Western Europe. According to statistics, 10% of the population suffers from it chronically. Moreover, 2% of women and 4% of men suffer from sleep apnea (OSAS), the most common organic sleep disorder.
The result is that more than one third of the population suffers from brief and/or poor quality of sleep, with consequences which are more or less serious, such as irritability, reduction of intellectual performance, memory disorders, daytime drowsiness, which can be dangerous, for example while driving.
