SMART LIVING 4 ALL

The Project SL4A is the result of a collaboration among various companies which have been awarded with a grant financed by Regione Lombardia. ComfTech® has teamed up with Mediaclinics, Foppapedretti and the University of Bergamo to pursue the goal of improving domestic quality of life, within a technological evolution frame, to support especially sensitive users, such as newborn babies and the elderly. Thinking to a hypothetical automated home, where IoT Connectivity and Artificial Intelligence will soon become very common, we are trying to apply our skills to comfort and safety.

The system consists of a set of environmental sensors located inside the “iCrib” cradle, with our sensored pajamas and smart toys for the newborn baby, a series of actuators reacting to sensors like LED lights or speakers, and finally AI that is able to comprehend the user’s decisions: all this managed by an APP which interfaces directly with the parents/carers.
