Abreast-You

Abreast-you, standing “shoulder-by-shoulder” in the fight that many women have to face. This product has been created for those women who, after a post-operation period, decide to go back to physical activity, with courage and willpower. A breast operation can change the image that a woman has of herself, often affecting her sense of womanhood, maternity and sexuality that has always been part of her identity. There is a risk that loosing her self esteem, she may stop doing the usual activities for fear and mistrust.
Our aim is to highlight the importance of sport as a source of wellness and as a fundamental therapy for healing.

The system consists of a textile component enveloping feminine curves, even when they have gone. The aim is to have an invisible and comfortable layer, which can serve both as a support and a fashion item, which can be appreciated and even attractive.
The parameters gathered by the garment are visualized through a special App for smartphones: thanks to this App, women can be part of a community where they can share their experience and even get the support of doctors and therapists.
